JMW Tiger Tag
The JMW Tiger Tag comes in various packages. For RTPI systems the JMW Vehicle Data Module Tag. This tag has a electrical connection to the vehicle, and also connects to either the blue lights on an emergency vehicle, or to the electronic ticket machine.

Where the bus has no electronic ticket machine, or the machine is not compatible with RTPI systems, a JMW Tiger Under Vehicle Tag may be used in some instances.

JMW Tiger Reader
The JMW Tiger Reader has been in manufactue since the early 1990's and is based on proven TIRIS technology. Over the years the JMW Tiger Reader has been continuously developed as customer requirements change and expand. The JMW Tiger Reader can be packaged to suit the full requirements of each site.

The JMW Tiger Reader can be mounted easily within a 3U equipment rack or a Haldo pillar situated at the road side.

Where the Tiger Reader is mounted within a 3U equipment rack the reader is connected its loop via a twin-axial cable. This twin-axial cable is normally placed in ducting or in some cases can be slot cut into the road surface. Where the Tiger Reader is mounted within a Haldo pillar a choice is available for connecting back to the traffic signal controller. The link can be via the JMW Radio Modem, or a communications cable can be installed between the reader and traffic signal controller.

When the JMW Tiger Reader is used in conjunction with the JMW Radio Modem, the reader can also be used to trasnmit other SCOOT related data, thereby saving on expensive civil works installing ducting.

Each Tiger Reader has volt free output contacts and serial interfaces.
